Prices still see their worst week since February

Natural-gas prices narrowly avoided a fourth straight session of declines but still posted their worst week since February on Friday as traders weighed a larger-than-expected increase to stockpiles last week and cooler weather forecasts.

Natural gas for October delivery edged up 0.4 cent, or 0.1%, to $2.7760 a million British thermal units on the New York Mercantile Exchange after closing at its lowest level since Aug. 1 a session earlier.
