Nestle Exploring Strategic Options for Skin Health Unit

Nestlé SA (NESN.EB) said Thursday that it is exploring strategic options for its skin-health unit, as the Swiss company puts its focus on food, beverage and nutritional health products.

Nestlé said it has reached the conclusion that the future of the unit, which had sales of about 2.7 billion Swiss francs ($2.8 billion) in 2017 and employs more than 5,000 people, lies outside the company’s strategic scope. A review is expected to be completed by mid-2019.
