Prices finish higher for a third-straight session

Natural-gas prices were trading higher for a third-straight session Friday on signs of strong late-summer demand, even as analysts warned an upcoming weather cool-down could drop prices quickly.

Futures for October delivery were 1.9% higher at $2.928 a million British thermal units on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Prices are more than 3% higher this month, through Thursday’s closing level.
