1250 GMT - Pernod Ricard’s sales in Spain should see improvement next year, says Bryan Garnier analyst Virginie Roumage, after the company said this week that instability in Catalonia depressed Spanish sales. There was a decrease in tourism, says Ms. Roumage, causing spirits consumption to fall considerably. Destocking by distributors, which translated into fewer shipments for Pernod, also contributed to the 5% sales drop in Spain--which counts for 4% of global sales, according to the analyst.
