0011 GMT — Asian stocks are little changed to start trading as the market continues to seek consistent gains after a week-plus of wide selling. Perhaps the broad—though not overwhelming—advance in the U.S. on Tuesday will be a catalyst. Japan’s Nikkei initially rose 0.1% after yesterday’s jump, aided by a further easing of the yen. New Zealand’s NZX 50, which bounced 2% yesterday to be the region’s best performer, is down 0.1%.
